“The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid.” (Jane Austen).
Our Book Club is a sub-group of FCWI, so you need to be a current member to attend. We’ve had to cap the group at 16, not only for ease of discussion, but because of the limitations at our meeting venue. At the moment the book club is full, but we review membership every six months. We meet at 6.30pm on the first Thursday of every month at Waterstones. We choose our books for the coming year at our December meeting – and then look forward to some fun and interesting discussions over the next eleven months!
