Out and About in London Town!

The May Morris exhibition is taking place 23 March – 1 June 2013.  Following her training within the family firm and at the National School of Art (later RCA), May became a noted craftswoman, designer, editor, Socialist and a leading figure in the Arts & Crafts movement, specialising in textiles and jewellery. She founded and chaired the Women’s Guild of Arts. May maintained and promoted her father’s artistic, literary, political and social ideals.

 
Festival des Métiers: an exhibition showcasing 10 different Hermès crafts is taking place at the Saatchi Gallery, 21 May – 27 May 2013. This free exhibition offers the opportunity to watch crafts people from the Hermès workshops at work as well as the opportunity to ask them any questions that you might have.
